  4. This is PD version of Roketz so you can copy it to everyone, 
  5. upload it to your local BBS or include it to your PD library.
  6. However, If you like this game and want to have the full version,
  7. i.e. new ships, levels and lotsa high tech weaponry, check out
  8. the Information section from main menu. The FULL version is NOT
  9. freeware, so unauthorized distribution is not allowed.

  11. Note that current release is not as stable as it should be...it sometimes
  12. crashes for no obvious reason...then just boot and try again.
  13. All known bugs will be fixed in the FULL RELEASE though.

  15. How to get yourself a full version of Roketz?
  16.  
  17. Registration fee for the Roketz full game is 10 UK pounds,
  18. 15 US Dollars or 25 DM. Visit your local bank to convert your money
  19. to any above mentioned currencies. Due to outrageously big amount
  20. of money banks charge for international transactions, the only sane
  21. way to send the registration fee is cash via mail. We strongly advise
  22. you to camouflage the money so it can not be detected before the lawful
  23. owners (i.e. us) open it. Otherwise it's rather likely that we don't
  24. receive it at all. The best way is to put the money between a
  25. christmas card and stick it in an envelope. The cuter card the
  26. better :). And remember - NO COINS. State your full name (or the name
  27. you want the ROKETZ registred to) and your postal address so we can
  28. send the full release directly to you. We are also interested to know
  29. the configuration of your machine. You could include your e-mail address
  30. if you have one. Bug reports, suggestions etc. are welcome too. You
  31. never know, maybe the data disk will include ships and stuff made after
  32. your suggestions. Don't forget that snailmail is not instantaneous.

  43. Important! When playing from disk Remember to unprotect it while playing
  44. if you want the status and scoring system (and the game) to work properly!
  45. When started from HD then no assigns must be made just make sure all data
  46. files are in same directory with Roketz, also make sure diskfont.library
  47. and mathtrans.library are present in your libs: - these are needed too.

  49. Thats it! And if you haven't actually tried the Roketz yet,then what the
  50. hell are you waitng for? Quit reading this darned thing and play!!!
  51. If you seem to die more then three times in a minute, read the manual 
  52. and practice a little with the slowest engine. The game will not be true 
  53. fun before you have really mastered the skill of flying.
  54. P.S. Roketz forces machine to PAL so if you use TV (NTSC) set as monitor
  55. you are not able to see anything :(.
